Measure the diameter of the fire pit in inches and square that number. Take that number and multiple it by the depth of glass you would like, we recommend no less then 2 inches. Divide this number by 24 and this is the poundage of glass you would need. Take the width and depth of the fireplace in inches and multiply them together. Multiply this number by 3inches, being the depth of fireglass. Divide this number by 19 and this is the poundage of glass you would need. To lessen your cost you can use a cheaper filler glass for the bottom with your desired color on the top.
