You can order in 5 pound increments of the firegear reflective fire glass. The fire glass is approximately 3/8 to 1/2 inch (9 to 13 mm) in size. It can be used indoors or outdoors, with natural gas or propane, in fire pits or vented fireplaces. I have taken pictures of the actual glass with a light and dark background. Also computer monitors may change the color, that is why I took multiple pictures with different backgrounds. In all cases we recommend to cover the burner with a layer of cinders/lava rock, a minimum of 1 in diameter. Glass should be used as a topping over lava rock/cinders approximately 1 in depth.
