PULSE IGNITION SYSTEM (Manual and Thermostat control units). This heater is equipped with a battery powered electric pulse igniting system. No AC power supply required. The battery should be periodically checked and replaced accordingly. Use a D size (IEC R20 or LR20) 1.5 V battery only. AUTOMATIC IGNITION SYSTEM (Remote control units ONLY). If you have the dual fuel model, your heater is equipped to operate on either propane or natural gas.
